Accreditation

• International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ)

SAITL is accredited by IANZ under the Dairy Testing Laboratory Accrediation Programme to the ISO 17025 standard.

• New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA)

SAITL is registered to test dairy products using the tests and methods outlined in the current schedule of our IANZ certificate of accrediation.

• Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF)

SAITL is an approved Transitional Facility.

• Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)

SAITL meets the audit requirements of the ACC Partnership Programme at Tertiary Level.

Memberships

• International Dairy Federation (IDF)

IDF's membership is made up of National Committees, constituted by dairy organisations in each country and representing as fully as possible the various dairying activities of the country (such as milk production, manufacture, distribution, technology, science, human nutrition, marketing, economics, education and administration).

SAITL is actively involved in the review of IDF/ISO methods of analysis and sampling (MAS), and is represented on a number of standing committees and work groups.  IDF MAS tests methods are performed for a number of reasons e.g. farmer payment, herd testing, compliance with food regulations, process control, truth of labeling, and to safe guard food safety.  As such these methods have a huge influence in the NZ Dairy Industry.

SAITL is an IANZ accredited company and as such we are audited on our technical and administrative processes on a regular basis. SAITL makes every effort to ensure we meet our requirements under the IANZ Accreditation.
